What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file that a web browser stores on a computer, mobile device, or other device used to access a website. When you visit a website or use a mobile application, the website requests permission to store this file on your computer, mobile device, or other device and to access information.
Cookies collect and store information about the use of websites or mobile applications, browsing behavior, and interaction with our online advertising and marketing. This data allows the website and mobile application to remember your actions or preferences, customize content, improve user experience, and help us improve our websites, mobile applications, and marketing communications. We use cookies as part of our websites, and they are also used by some of our third-party partners.
More information about cookies and similar technologies, as well as browser settings, can be found at http://www.allaboutcookies.org/
Types of Cookies
Cookies differ according to their duration, source, and function. On our Website, we use the following categories of cookies:
1) Types of cookies by source/operator
First-party cookies are set in your web browser and/or on the device you use by our Website. You will be assigned a unique identifier so that we can track your journey through our Website. First-party cookies allow us to recognize you and help personalize and manage your experience on our Website.
Third-party cookies are set by third parties, often because we use an external service provider for certain Website functions (such as web graphics plugins and booking system functionalities), for advertising, or to assess the use of our Website through services such as Google Analytics. We do not control third-party cookies, even when we receive information from those third parties related to their cookies on our Website.
2) Types of cookies by duration
Persistent cookies are stored in your web browser and/or on the device you use between browsing sessions until you delete them manually or until your browser deletes them according to the duration of each cookie file. They allow our Website to recognize you when you return, so we can remember your preferences and tailor products and services for you. In this way, websites store information such as usernames and passwords, language settings, or cookie preferences so that users do not have to re-enter them on subsequent visits. Please note that persistent cookies may remain on your device for days, months, or even years.
Session cookies are temporary and expire when you close your web browser. These cookies allow our Website to link your actions during a browsing session so you can use the Website more efficiently. With these cookies, websites store information such as the last pages a user opened on the site they are visiting or items in a shopping cart on an e-commerce website.
3) Types of cookies by function
Technical/necessary cookies are required for the proper functioning of our Website. These cookies enable Website services such as secure login and booking services. For this type of cookies, we do not request your consent.
Functional cookies enable the Website to provide enhanced functionality and personalization. These cookies allow us to recognize you when you return to our Website and enable us to display personalized content and remember your settings (e.g., your language or region selection).
Analytical/performance cookies are used to obtain data about Website usage and how visitors navigate through our Website and which content is of interest to them. We use this information to improve performance and simplify the use of our Website.
Marketing cookies record your visit to our Website, other websites you visit, and the links you follow. The information obtained from these cookies helps us tailor our Website and advertisements to your interests.
Social media cookies – We use cookies to personalize your interaction with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. These cookies recognize users of those platforms when they view social media content on our Website. They also enable quick sharing of content on social networks using simple “share” buttons.

Analytics and Advertising Tools
The Company uses analytical and advertising tools on its Website. Below you will find more detailed information about each of these tools.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a tool for tracking and analyzing traffic on websites and applications. Each time a user visits the Website, the tracking code collects pseudo-anonymous data about how that user interacts with the Website. The collected data helps us understand user needs and personalize the user experience and deliver relevant advertising.
Google Analytics collects first-party cookies, device/browser-related data, IP addresses, and website/app activity in order to measure and report statistical information on user interactions on websites and/or apps that use Google Analytics. This allows us, for example, to obtain information on how many users visited our Website, what visitors search for most, language settings, browser types (e.g. Chrome or Safari), and the device and operating system used.
More information on how Google Analytics processes data can be found at:
https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=hr#cookies-and-google-analytics-identifiers
More information on how to opt out of Google Analytics tracking can be found via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on:

Google Advertising (Google Ads)
Google Ads is an online advertising solution that enables the promotion of products and services on Google Search, YouTube, and other websites. This allows reaching new users while they search for terms related to the Company or browse websites with related topics.
When users search using keywords selected by the Company, its ads may appear next to or above search results. When a user visits a page or sees an ad using Google tools (either on Google services or other websites and apps), various cookies may be sent to the user’s browser. These cookies may be used for several purposes, such as preventing the same ad from being shown repeatedly, detecting and preventing click fraud, and displaying more relevant ads (e.g. ads based on websites the user has visited).

Google Enhanced Conversions
We use conversion tracking as part of Google Ads. If you have clicked on a Google ad and consented to marketing cookies via the banner on the Company’s Website, conversion tracking cookies may be set. These cookies contain interaction data and a unique identifier for the user or ad click that led the user to the Website.
This allows Google and us to track how many users clicked on an ad and were redirected to the Company’s Website.
More information about Google conversions:
https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/93148?hl=hr
The Company also uses the “Enhanced Conversions” feature within Google Ads. Enhanced Conversions improve the accuracy of conversion measurement by supplementing existing conversion tags with hashed, directly collected conversion data sent securely to Google in a privacy-protecting manner.
This occurs when a user is logged into their Google account, views the Company’s ad via Google channels, and then completes a conversion (e.g. a booking) on the Company’s Website. The conversion tag records fields selected for tracking on the Website (e.g. name, email, address, phone number). Before being sent to Google, this data is hashed using the SHA256 one-way algorithm.

Microsoft Advertising (formerly Bing Ads)
Microsoft Advertising is an online advertising platform developed by Microsoft. When users enter search terms (“keywords”) in search engines such as Bing, Yahoo, or AOL, ads from the Company may appear in search results if they match the selected keywords.
If a user clicks on an ad and has accepted marketing cookies on the Company’s Website, cookies are stored on the device. These cookies allow the Company to track how many users visited the Website after clicking an ad and to track users across multiple websites in order to display relevant ads based on visitor preferences.
